Malcolm-Jamal Warner

Malcolm -Jamal Warner ( born August 18, 1970 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA) is an American actor and film producer. He played his most famous role in the Cosby Show, he played the role of Theo Huxtable 1984-1992.

Life

He had in 1982 in an episode of the detective series Matt Houston His first role. 1983 follow another guest appearance in the series Fame, before he got the role of Theo Huxtable. In the U.S. sitcom The Bill Cosby Show, he played for eight years. It was followed by the feature films Drop Zone (1994 ) and restaurant ( 1998), as well as lead roles in the series Malcolm & Eddie (1996-2000) and Jeremiah - Warriors of Thunder (2002-2004).

Already in the Cosby Show led Warner with five episodes directed, for the first time in 1990.

When Malcolm & Eddie Warner took over in some episodes multiple functions. He was actor, producer and director. In the short film This Old Man He was also active as a producer and director.

From 2010 to 2013 he was romantically involved with actress Regina King, who he already knows since the 1980s.

Music

Warner is fronting the jazz band Miles Long, which he produced on his own label Wonder Factory. The band brought out in 2003 the album The Miles Long Mixtape, followed in 2007 by Love & Other Social Issues. He played his music in the series Malcolm & Eddie.
