Malcolm Todd

Malcolm Todd ( born November 27, 1939June 6, 2013 in Exeter ) was a British historian and archaeologist Classic. His main area of ​​work was the relationship between the Roman Empire and Western Europe.

Career

Todd graduated from the University of Wales and at Brasenose College, Oxford. He lectured on archeology at the University of Nottingham and was from 1979 to 1996 professor at the University of Exeter. Then Todd moved to Durham University and was Principal of Trevelyan College. He was a Senior Research Fellow of the British Academy and the Leverhulme Trust, Corresponding Member of the German Archaeological Institute.
