Maldita Vecindad

Maldita Vecindad y los Hijos del Quinto Patio is a Mexican ska - punk band, which can also incorporate Latin American elements such as the Danzon in their style. Their lyrics deal with the everyday workers of the 1980s and 90s.

The band was founded in 1985 and developed into one of the most influential bands of the Mexican ska. The band will also often abbreviated to Maldita Vecindad.
