Malik Zidi

Malik Zidi ( born February 14, 1975 in Saint- Maur- des-Fosses, France) is a French actor.

Biography

Malik Zidi is the son of an Algerian computer scientist and a Breton pharmacist. At the age of 18 he moved to Paris to study. But his scientific studies, he broke in favor of studying acting at Véronique Nordey again. In addition to smaller theater engagements he made his debut in 1998 in the two dramas Open hearts and Place Vendôme on the canvas. For his portrayal of Franz in the directed by François Ozon tragedy Drops on Burning Rocks Zidi was nominated in 2001 for the first time as Best Newcomer for the French César film award. With a total of four nominations, he holds the record in the category.
