Małobór, Kołobrzeg County

Małobór ( German Waldhaus ) is a deserted village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It lies in the field of Gmina Rymań (Town novel).

Geographical location

The deserted village located in Eastern Pomerania, about 80 kilometers north-east of Szczecin, about three kilometers north- west of the village Rymań (novel). The nearest neighboring towns are approximately two kilometers southeast of the living space Gołkowo ( Birkenfelde ) and about two kilometers northeast of the living space Lędowa ( Waldhof ).

History

Forest House was founded in 1853 by the landowner of the novel, Alexander Andrae as an asylum for released prisoners that should be incorporated herein by agricultural labor in the society. 1862 had Waldhaus 18 inhabitants.

1898 Forest home was sold by the then landowner of novel and since then managed by two farmers. 1919 bought the new landowners of Roman, Ludwig von Dewitz, forest house for the estate back. Since then it has been in use until 1945 as a Vorwerk of the material in the novel.

After the Second World War came Waldhaus, like all of Pomerania to Poland. It was the Polish place names Małobór. Today the place is desolate.
