Malta [ mɒltə ] ( assiniboine Iyúkšą ti ʾ Oda, Oyúwąga, O ʾ íyuweǧe, Wakpa įyúkšą ) is a city in the U.S. state of Montana, United States and the administrative seat of Phillips County.

Geography

Malta is located in the north of Montana in the High Plains. South of the town are the Little Rocky Mountains, a group of Härtlingen with heights of up to 1743 meters. The Milk River serves as a water source for Malta. It rises in the area of Glacier National Park.

The metropolitan area has a size of 2.75 km ². In 2010, the population was 1,997.

Infrastructure
