Malvina (character)

Malvina is in the work of the Scottish poet James Macpherson Ossian 's fiancee Oscar ( Oskar ). The name derives from the Scottish Gaelic mala Mhin ( " beautiful face " ) ago.

In the supposedly traditional Celtic epic Ossian, which was written in truth of Macpherson himself, Malvina is the daughter of the noble warrior Toscar. In Temora, the historic Temair ( Tara ) alive, she is engaged to Oscar, the only son of the poet Ossian. When her fiancé dies early, it maintains his blind father until his death.

Malvina is a fictional character Macpherson and takes place in the Celtic tradition no equivalent.
