Mandy Haase ( born June 25, 1982 in Leipzig ) is a German hockey player. She was Olympic champion in 2004.

Life

For hockey they came by their parents who have completed A or youth caps for the former GDR. Even before the turn they settled in 1989 at the Rhein- Neckar region ( Wilhelm field), there to promote hockey activities of their daughter. Her sister Lydia plays hockey and is also successful national team.

In the Bundesliga, the central defender and midfielder played a long time for the Rüsselsheim RK, with which it belonged until 2005, 2001 and 2004 German champion in the field and 2002 in the hall.
