The Mangrt (Italian MANGART ) ( 2677 m) is one of the highest and most characteristic peaks of the Julian Alps. It lies on the border between Slovenia and Italy. To the parking lot on the west side of the mountain leads the Mangartstraße, which branches from the Predil Pass road. From the top you have a beautiful view of the highest mountain of Slovenia, Triglav.

The bold but well-secured Via ferrata Italiana on the north wall owes its origin to the border demarcation by 1945.
