Mani-Kongo

Mani - Congo (Eng. Men of the Congo ) was the traditional title for the ruler of the Kongo Empire from the 14th century. After the destruction of the empire, the Office has continued as an ethnic institution up to the present, but without direct political or even constitutional significance.
