Manicouagan Regional County Municipality
Manicouagan is a regional county municipality (French municipalité régional du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Quebec.
It is located in the administrative region Côte -Nord and consists of nine subordinate administrative units (a city, a municipality, five villages, a parish and an unincorporated community ). The MRC was established on 1 April 1981. The main town is Baie -Comeau. The population is 29,825 and the area 39246.40 km ², which corresponds to a population density of 0.8 inhabitants per km ².
