The Manigotagan River is a tributary of Lake Winnipeg in southeastern Manitoba and Ontario.

Part of the original river has its origin in Eden Lake in the Kenora District in the extreme west of Ontario, near the provincial border. It flows in a predominantly west-north- west to Manitoba. It flows through the lakes Gem Lake and Lake Manigotagan. In Manitoba, it flows through the Nopiming Provincial Park. The lower reaches of the river lies in the Manigotagan River Provincial Park. The Manigotagan River flows approximately 150 km away in the eastern lakeshore Manigotagan in Winnipeg. The catchment area of the river covers 1830 km ². The mean discharge of 8.5 m³ / s

The Manigotagan River is a popular destination for canoeing. A good starting point is the Manitoba Provincial Road 314 From there, the paddling route is by Manigotagan 134 km.
