Manilius (crater)

Manilius is an impact crater on the Moon's front page on the eastern edge of the Mare Vaporum, west of Menalaus in the Montes Haemus. The shape of the crater is irregular and the inner wall are traces show extensive landslides.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Roman poet and astrologer Marcus Manilius.
