Manlio Sgalambro

Manlio Sgalambro ( born December 9, 1924 in Lentini, † March 6, 2014 in Catania ) was an Italian philosopher and writer.

Sgalambro was a philosophical writer, was mainly through his work La morte del sole known to a wider audience (1982, German translation from the death of the Sun, 1988). He lived as a freelance writer in Catania.

Since 1994 Sgalambro had also written numerous articles for singer-songwriter Franco Battiato.
