Manly Yacht Club

The Manly Yacht Club ( MYC ) was founded in 1950 as Manly 14ft Skiff Club in Manly, NSW, Australia. The club was later renamed Manly Yacht Club.

Regattas

The club conducts its own regatta in the harbor of Sydney.

A summer series, winter series, Club Championship for yachts and dinghies, as well as a more friendly, cozy Twilight series Friday night for the yachts.

Manly Junior

1959, the members continue to be interested in the sport of sailing, the club problem. Most of the founding members had become family and children and the Skiff Club could no longer provide enough these members. It was therefore decided to introduce a new junior class to recruit new members and to rebuild the club. The biggest problem was that the club had not enough space to stow the boats. This has meant that the club developed a new dinghy class, which could be stowed upright in the clubhouse. The Manly Junior was born. 2009, celebrated along with its neighbor, the Manly Skiff Club, the 50 - year anniversary of the Manly Juniors Manly Yacht Club.
