The men's water is a 3.9 km long, left or western tributary of Losse in the district of Kassel, North Hesse ( Germany ).

Course

The men's water originates in the nature park Meissner Kaufunger forest in the wooded Söhre. Its source is in the municipality of Söhrewald between the Franzosentriesch (about 490 m above sea level. NN ) in the southwest and the members of the community Helsa little Belger head ( about 490 m above sea level. NN ) in the northeast near the deserted village Lobesrode to about 458 m above sea level. NN.

The eastward flowing men water which flows a few hundred meters below its origin in the municipality of Helsa, first runs through the nature reserve at Heubruchwiesen Eschenstruth ( NSG-Nr. 163 667 ), which was founded in 1989 and is 51.49 ha. After that opens between the villages Helsaer Saint Ottilia and Eschenstruth up a small stream, coming from the southwest to Saint Ottilia water away from the men.

Finally, the men water flows after passing southern Eschenstruth, east of the village and just west of Federal Highway 7, approximately 308 m above sea level. NN in there from the south Fulda inflow Losse.
