The Male is a 2343 meter high summit in the Bernese Alps. From Wengen air Wengen- Male ( LWM) of the gondola Grindelwald Grindelwald- Male (GGM ) leads to the masculine. The mountain station of the tracks are located approximately 2230 meters to a flatter back west of the summit. The actual summit can climb from there over the steep UNESCO - way in about 30 minutes.

The male is known as a lookout point with a magnificent view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as a base for hikers and skiers. 20 cable cars and lifts open up in the winter, the ski Kleine Scheidegg with over 100 km of slopes. The gondola Grindelwald- Male is the longest gondola cable car in the world. Apart from the cable car is the male on foot from Grindelwald on a normal street in a walk of about four hours to reach or even of Wengen in about three hours on a narrow footpath which led a height difference of 1.8 kilometers in a straight line distance over 950 meters possible.
