Manor Records

Manor Records was one of Irving Berman founded in New York record label of the 1940s. Later the company moved to New Jersey.

Among the artists who took up for Manor belonged Savannah Churchill, The sentimentalists - later under the name of The Four Tunes famous, Luis Russell, Deek Watson and His Brown Dots, Boy Green, Skoodle - Dum -Doo ( Seth Richard ) and others. Noteworthy are also the occasional recordings of jazz musician Dizzy Gillespie.

The quality of the recordings was rather poor, but this is probably due to the lack of shellac war and post-war period. The sales of the company always received the current operation to continue, but when with the beginning of the 1950s changed the taste in music, Berman took the consequences and put the operation step by step. His artist went to other labels.
