Mansour (singer)
Mansour Jafari Mama Ghani (known as Mansour, born July 28, 1971 in Tehran ) is an Iranian singer, actor and composer. He lives in California (USA).
Life
Mansour Jafari Mama Ghani spent the early years of childhood in Iran and emigrated with his family to the United States. There he began in 1991 with the recording of his debut album. Ferferehayeh Bi Baad appeared in August 1994 Caltex Records. In this album Mansour worked with some well-known musicians such as Persian Siavash Ghomayshi, Abdi Yamini, Hassan Shamaeizadeh and Manouchehr Cheshmazar. Poets such as Shahyar Ghanbari, Homayoun Hooshyarnejad and Masoud Fardmanesh were involved. In 1996 he brought out Tasvir Akhar, followed in 1997 Daricheh, 1998 Ghayegheh Kaghazi. Extractions therefrom were dance club success. The greatest successes of this period were Sokooteh Shekasteh and Tasvireh Akhar of Tasvireh Akhar, Jashneh Setarehaa, Daricheh and Aghousheh to and Parandehaaye Bi Vataan, also known as Nazanin, Chashmeh Siat and Yaadeh to.
1999 Mansour began his collaboration with composer Brian Wayy and lyricist Paksima Zakipour and began writing songs. He compiled his fifth album Faghat Be Khatereh To ( Only for You). When the album was officially released in March 2000, it became a major commercial success. Besides the title song Eshgheh Atashy, Entezaar and Vaghty Nisti became known as extractions. Especially Chashmaan Siah became popular in Afghanistan.
1999 brought him the filmmaker Babak Shokrian the lead role in the film America So Beautiful on. The film, starring Shohreh Aghdashloo was shown at film festivals in Berlin, Marrakech, Gothenburg and Los Angeles and received favorable criticism.
In 2001 he released his album Zendegy, more albums followed. In memory of the victims of the devastating earthquake in Iran on 26 December 2003 Bam, he wrote together with Babak Rouzbeh the song Eidi Nadaram, which he recorded in 2004 published the album Farari. It became a bestseller in the Iranian market this year.
In 2008, he married his girlfriend Sogol.
