Mantronix

The band Mantronix was the project of DJs and producers Kurtis Mantronik. As Kurtis Khaleel born in Jamaica, Mantroniks family moved to New York in the seventies, where he teamed up with MC tea to record a demo tape, which earned both a record deal with Sleeping Bag Records. In 1986, she released the singles " Ladies" and "Bass Lines", followed by an LP. In later publications, the band traveled in style from hip-hop to ragga, techno and house. After the release of the LP " The Incredible Sound Machine " 1991 Mantronix disbanded.
