Manuel Antonio Blas Sáenz

Manuel Antonio Blas Sáenz (* 1800 in Rivas (Nicaragua ) ) was 1845 President of Nicaragua.

Life

In July 1842 the Supreme Director of Nicaragua Manuel Pérez Sáenz was involved Dionisio Zapata with boundary negotiations with Costa Rica. 1843 went by Senator Sáenz the legislative initiative establishing the Government Gazette Registro Oficial out.

In Guerra de Malespín Silvestre Selva Sacasa was used by the Okupationstruppen as Supremo Director of Nicaragua. Malespín retired on January 24, 1845 in the long besieged Leon ( Nicaragua) and his troops focused on a massacre.

Blas Antonio Sáenz and José León Sandoval declared initial Masaya 1845 the seat of government of Nicaragua and formed a rival government. As Malespín was overthrown in El Salvador, Silvestre Selva could escape from León.

The commander of the Ejército Protector de Paz, José Trinidad Muñoz Fernández resigned the governorship of León Sáenz broke on March 3, 1845 dictated by Malespín peace treaty. In his speech at the opening of Parliament on March 10, 1845 Sáenz called for a national unity to be formed, which gives international respect, internal security, credibility and general agreement.
