Manuel Schäffler

Manuel Schaffler ( born February 6, 1989 in Fürstenfeldbruck ) is a German football player. The striker is since January 2014 in the squad of the third division side Holstein Kiel. For TSV 1860 Munich, MSV Duisburg and FC Ingolstadt 04 he played in front of 119 times in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Career

Clubs

Schaeffler began playing football at TSV Moore Weis and moved in 2001 to the 1860 Munich. His first game in the U23 Sechzger graduated from the young attacker with 18 years on 11 March 2007 in the Regional game of the Little Lions in the second team of VfB Stuttgart, where he came on in the 62nd minute. By the end of the season he came on in three other games. In the season 2007/ 08 coopers was an integral part of the Regional squad, he scored seven goals in 24 games.

In summer 2008, coopers was appointed coach Marco Kurz in the professional squad. His professional debut in the 2nd Bundesliga he had given on 22 February 2008 at Game 1 at FC Cologne. In the first half of the season 2008/ 09 he was regularly used, the scoring was however denied. At the match in Mainz on 19 Round, where he completed his 18th game as a pro, he finally scored his first goal. For the 2009/10 season Schäffler contract was extended until 2012. This season he came, however, only ten short sessions. Overall, he played a mere 130 minutes for the first team for the second team, he played 16 games.

In summer 2010, Schaeffler was awarded for the 2010/ 11 to the league rivals MSV Duisburg. There he came 21 games and scored four goals for use. After he returned to Munich in summer 2011, he was there as before the loan only a reserve player. Until the winter break of the season 2011/12 he was indeed used 14 times, but always on as a substitute in the second half. In addition to a goal in the 2nd Bundesliga, he scored another for the second team in the Regionalliga Süd, for which he ran aground three times. Overall, coopers had accrued in 57 second division games for the Lions, where he scored five goals. Three times he played in the DFB Cup. For the U -23 he came to 50 missions in the Regionalliga, where he scored 16 goals.

Beginning of January 2012 moved Schaffler to league rivals FC Ingolstadt 04, where he signed a contract until 2014. On 31 January 2014 he dissolved his dated until the end of the season contract and switched to Holstein Kiel in the third league.

National

Manuel Schaffler was 2008 for the U-19 European Championship in the Czech Republic on call, but was not re-nominated. On 3 September 2008 he arrived at the test match of the German U20 against Austria for his first international cap. In 2009 he was part of the German squad at the Junior World Cup in Egypt. He came for the German team that was eliminated in the quarterfinals four times to insert and scored a goal.
