Mao Zetan

Mao Zetan (Chinese毛 泽 覃, Pinyin Mao Zetan, * September 25, 1905, † April 25, 1935 in Jiangxi ), Mao Zelin (毛 泽 淋) Yǒngjú (咏 菊), or Rùnjú (润 菊) was the younger of the two brothers of Mao Zedong. He joined in 1923 the Communist Party of China. In 1927 he was one of the participants in the Nanchang Uprising and was among those communists, who retired after the suppression of the uprising in the Jinggangshan Mountains. Mao Zetan was killed at age 29 years of Kuomintang troops in Jiangxi.
