Maojian District

The municipality Maojian (茅箭 区) is a municipality located in the northwest part of China's Hubei Province to the administrative territory of the prefecture-level city of Shiyan. It has an area of 540.3 km ² and 578 and counts 232 282 inhabitants ( end of 2004).
