Maquiné is a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. It is located about 135 km northeast of Porto Alegre. Adjacent are the places São Francisco de Paula, Riozinho, Osório, Terra de Areia, Xangri - lá, Capão da Canoa and Caraa. Originally Maquiné was part of Munizips Osório.
