Marc Bonilla

Marc Henry Bonilla ( born July 3, 1955 at the Contra Costa County, California ) is an American guitarist, musician and composer.

Since the 1980s, Bonilla heard with Joe Satriani on the important guitar teachers in the area around the bay of San Francisco. In the late 1980s Bonilla moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a teacher at GIT ( Guitar Institute of Technology), but also produced TV and film soundtracks, and even had a role in the television series Nightman. He works since 1995 and with Keith Emerson, Glenn Hughes, David Coverdale and Kevin Gilbert. On the Emerson, Lake & Palmer tribute album Encores, he also acts with.

Currently Bonilla plays with the band California Transit Authority. An album with the Keith Emerson band was released in 2008.
