Marcel Hug

Marcel Hug (born 16 January 1986) is a Swiss athlete.

Hug was born with spina bifida. At age ten, he started for the first time with the racing wheelchair during a Junior race, the students race Schenkon marathon, and in 1998 he won the same race in his age group. In the following years he was able to record many successes. From 2001 to 2004 he was a member of the athletics squad of the RSS, since 2005 the Swiss national team.
