Marcel IureÅŸ

Marcel Iures ( born August 2, 1951 in Băileşti, Romania) is a Romanian film and theater actor.

Life and work

Filmmaking

Iures is considered Romania 's best-known actor who has starred in his homeland in more than two dozen films.

That he is also very much in demand internationally, he has also proved a handful Hollywood films, including The Peacemaker (1997), Mission Impossible ( 1996) and Interview with the Vampire (1994).

Theater actors
