Marcel Landers ( born August 24, 1984 in Oberhausen ) is a German football player.

Career

Marcel Landers was born in Oberhausen and learned to play football at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. After he had passed through all youth cohorts he stood until 2005 in the squad of the second RWO team and then joined the first team that played in the Regionalliga Nord. In his first season Landers dismounted with the club. The following Oberliga 2006 /07 he went back up to the Regionalliga Nord and mastered with RWO promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. On the 2nd Round of the 2008/ 09 Landers made ​​his second league debut against FC Ingolstadt 04. In the following three years, Marcel Landers came to a total of 76 missions in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he has often been extended or replaced.

After the 2010/11 season for RWO ended with relegation to the third league, Landers signed in June 2011 a two-year contract with the regional league Wuppertal SV Borussia. In January 2013, he broke his contract there again and returned to Rot- Weiß Oberhausen.
