Marcel Meeuwis

Marcel Meeuwis ( born October 31, 1980 in Goirle ) is a Dutch football player.

Career

His first two games as a professional graduated Meeuwis in the 2000 /01 season for Willem II After he came only to four inserts in his second season, he moved to VVV Venlo in the Eerste Divisie, where he became a regular player. In 2006, Meeuwis in the Eredivisie Roda JC, where he also was in the following years to the service providers.

On 18 May 2009 he announced to have signed a three year contract with the Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach.

After Meeuwis came in the first half of the 2010/11 season only two Kurzeinwechslungen, Borussia Moenchengladbach announced on 31 January that he will be loaned to the end of the season at Feyenoord Rotterdam. To the Dutch he was in the remaining 13 games starting players in the Eredivisie.

On July 7, 2011 Meeuwis was his move to VVV -Venlo known where he signed a contract with a term until 2014.

National team career

In March 2009 Meeuwis completed a game for the Dutch national team B against the German U- 21 team that won his team 4-0. Overall, he made two B- caps for the Netherlands.
