Marcel Rapp

Marcel Rapp ( born April 16, 1979 in Pforzheim ) is a former German football player and current football coach.

Career

Prior to his time as a professional Marcel Rapp played with the juniors of Karlsruher SC, VfR Pforzheim and at his hometown club, 1.FC Ersingen. Rapp had in his time at Karlsruher SC total of eight appearances in the Bundesliga 2, another second division use came in 2000 added for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. In the following years he played for FC Carl Zeiss Jena and the SC Pfullendorf in the Regionalliga Süd. In the Regional Rapp came to a total of 242 missions and fourteen gates.

In the 2007 /08 season he played in the Regionalliga Süd for Stuttgarter Kickers and qualified with the team for the newly founded 3rd professional league. In the following season, Rapp rose with Stuttgarter Kickers from the Regionalliga Süd. Since the summer of 2009, he was captain of the Kickers team, but left at the end of the 2010/11 season the club and joined in the following season FC Nöttingen in the Oberliga Baden- Württemberg. In the 2012/13 season Rapp acted alongside his work as a player who also acted as co- coach of the FCN. On 31 December 2012, he then moved to the youth department of the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where he is currently working as a coach of the U16.
