Marcel Reif
Marcel Reif ( born November 27, 1949 as Marc Nathan frost in Wałbrzych ( Waldenburg ), Poland ) is a Swiss television journalist and sports commentator.
Life
After the birth of Marcel his family in 1956 emigrated with him from Poland to Tel Aviv. His mother was Polish, German -born Catholic, his father a Polish Jew. His father was rescued by Berthold Beitz from the Nazis by Beitz from the train took him directly to the concentration camp. Learned German until the age of eight, when his family moved to Kaiserslautern. As a teenager he played at the 1st FC Kaiserslautern Football ( central defense, later attacking midfielder ).
Career
Mature studied in Mainz Journalism, Political Science and American Studies. He was a freelancer at ZDF in Mainz in the department policy for the program today and heute-journal in 1972. Appearance in Madrid
Is known is his moderation with Günther Jauch from " Torfall of Madrid " in the Champions League match Real Madrid - Borussia Dortmund on 1 April 1998 in Madrid. Private
Reif lives in Rüschlikon near Zurich and was married from 1999 to 2006 in second marriage. Marcel Reif has three sons. Since April 2010 he is married to the Munich medical professor Marion Kiechle. In 2013, Marcel Reif has received Swiss citizenship, he has made his German citizenship: "For me, it quickly became clear when I am Swiss, then right.
