The Rungis wholesale market ( Marché International de Rungis French ) is the wholesale market of Paris and the largest wholesale market worldwide. It is located about 13 kilometers south of the city center a few miles north of the airport Paris -Orly Rungis in the places and Chevilly -Larue in the Ile de France.

Until 1969, the Paris wholesale market was located in the city center and had an area of ​​12 hectares. After the parade there was the indoor area.

There are nine halls for vegetables, meat for seven, five for milk and cheese, one for seafood and other halls for flowers.

The market has been built on an area of ​​232 hectares, 72 hectares of it. 30,000 employees and purchasers and 24,000 vehicles to control him daily. There is a separate goods station.
