Marco Aurelio Zani de Ferranti

Marco Aurelio Zani de Ferranti ( born December 23, 1801 in Bologna, † November 28, 1878 in Pisa ) was an Italian guitarist and composer.

With twelve years Zani de Ferranti began to learn to play the violin and was within four years already an excellent violinist, when he moved the instrument and learned to play the guitar. This, too, he made it within a few years to the championship.

Concert tours have taken him to Holland, England, France and America. His son Cesare moved to England and was the father of Sebastian Ziani de Ferranti.

Zani de Ferranti's work includes a variety of compositions for guitar.
