Marco Calliari
Marco Calliari (* in Italy ) is a Canadian singer-songwriter.
Career
Calliari studied classical singing at the high school. From 1989 to 2002 he was then lead singer and guitarist of the metal band Anonymous from Montreal. In 2003, he launched a solo career and the pop music turned his Italian homeland. He has published several Italian language albums.
He had his greatest success in 2010. During the worldwide success of the dance version of We No Speak Americano by Yolanda Be Cool, he benefited from the fact that the hit version in the UK was first published with a delay. His version from 2006 at the Montreal House Mafia Remix by DJ MC Mario two weeks was previously available and reached number 26 in the UK charts.
