Marco Piccinini

Marco Piccinini ( born 1952 in Rome ) is a former team principal of the Scuderia Ferrari.

Marco Piccinini studied architecture in Rome and came during his studies for the first time with motor racing in contact when he worked for an Italian Formula 3 team. Already in the 1960s he moved to Monaco and began a career in banking.

In 1974 he was one of the founding members of the first Monaco race car manufactory Société Monégasque de Constructions Automobiles MP. In 1975 he rose to the Directorate of Monaco bank and came in 1977 as a consultant to Ferrari.

Under Enzo Ferrari he rose rapidly and was until the mid- 1990s, worked in various roles for the Italian brand.
