Marco Weißhaupt

Marco White Main (* June 24, 1972 in Erfurt ) is a German football player. He has played in the Bundesliga for Hamburger SV, SC Freiburg and Hansa Rostock. Marco is the son or nephew of the twins Jörg and Horst White Main, who played together for many years for FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt in the GDR Oberliga and Motor Nordhausen in the DDR -Liga.

Playing career

Marco White Main began playing football in 1978 at the BSG Motor Nordhausen. In 1986 he moved to the Children's and Youth Sports School in the district capital and thus to FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt, which he left in late 1988 in the direction of his home town. When BSG Motor Nordhausen or later FSV Wacker 90 Nordhausen White Main made ​​the jump to the first men's team and kicked in the Erfurt County League and in the 1990/91 season in the last time discharged DDR -Liga.
