Marcos Flores

Marcos Abel Flores Benard (born 23 October 1985 in Reconquista ) is an Argentine footballer who is active for the Central Coast Mariners.

Career in Argentina

His first stop in professional football was the Argentine club Unión de Santa Fe. He was on 17 April 2004, his debut in the first Argentine league and could score a goal directly in his first game. He played until 2006 with Unión de Santa Fe before moving to the top club Newell 's Old Boys. In the Old Boys he could never really take root, which meant that he was loaned to the 2007/08 season at his old club Unión de Santa Fe. He came into this season to 26 inserts, where he was able to achieve two goals. For any new attempt at Newell 's Old Boys did not happen, because Flores was transferred immediately after the expiry of his loan contract for Chilean club Curico Unido.

Australia and China

In Chile, he only played for half a year and moved in June 2009 to Australia to Adelaide United. There he quickly became an indispensable service providers and debuted in 2010 in the AFC Champions League. The 2010/11 season he finished with nine goals in 27 games from. In 2012 followed a six-month stint in the Chinese Super League. He arrived there on four inserts for Henan Jianye.

For the 2012/13 season he left China and went back to Australia. He joined Melbourne Victory. After only one year at Victory he moved within the A-League to the Central Coast Mariners.
