Marek Perepeczko

Marek Perepeczko ( born April 3, 1942 in Warsaw, † November 17, 2005 in Kraków) was a Polish actor.

In the early 1960s he had his first public appearances on Polish television TVP in poetic Studio of Andrzej Konic. In 1965 he completed his acting studies at the State Drama School PWST in Warsaw. In the same year he made his film and theater debut. From 1966 to 1969 he was part of the Ensemble of the Warsaw Teatr Klasyczny and 1970-1977 the ensemble of the Teatr Komedia in Warsaw. In the 1970s, he reached the height of its popularity through the title role in the adventure television series Janosik. The 2 m tall handsome Marek Perepeczko was mainly occupied in noble hero roles. In the 1980s, he left Poland to live in Australia. Hardly recognizable, now plump giant Perepeczko came after the political changes in Poland back to his native country. From 1998 to 2003 he was director of Częstochowa Mickiewicz theater. Perepeczko died in 2005 after a heart attack at his home in Częstochowa.
