Margaret of Ravensberg

Was the daughter of Count Otto IV of Ravens mountain and Margaret of mountain - Windeck heiress of the counties of Berg and Berg Ravens; Margaret of Ravens mountain mountain ( † February 19, 1389 * 1320 ). 1338 she married Gerhard, son of Count William V of Jülich. Gerhard was consequently 1346/48 Earl of Ravens and Berg and established here with Margarete an extension line of the house Jülich.

The marriage produced three children: William, Elizabeth and Margaret.

She is buried with her ​​husband in a prominent place in Altenberg Cathedral, where her magnificent Doppelepitaph received. In Dusseldorf Margaret Street is named after her.
