Margaret of Berg-Windeck

Margaretha von Berg ( also Margaret of Windeck, * to 1275/1280; † 1339-1346 ) was by marriage Countess of Ravens mountain.

Description

She was a daughter of Henry and Agnes Windeck from the marrow.

She married 1313 Otto IV, Count of Ravens Mountain, son of Otto III .. With him she had a daughter Margaret of Ravens Berg -Berg, who married 1338 Gerhard von Jülich.

When her husband died in 1328, the county Ravens mountain fell on her brother Bernard of Ravens mountain. Upon the death of Bernard, 1346 Ravens mountain fell to her daughter Margaret.

It was last occupied in 1339 in a document. As part of the settlement of the inheritance Ravensberg 1346 it is no longer called, because she was probably already dead.
