Margaret (singer)

Margaret (* 30 June 1991 in Stargard, Poland, and Margaret J or Margaret Ashton, real name Małgorzata Jamroży ) is a Polish pop singer and blogger.

Biography

First gained fame Małgorzata Jamroży in the network by its own fashion blog as Margaret J. From 2011, she appeared on the network as a singer and put online on a YouTube channel cover versions of several hits.

Her breakthrough came in 2013 with 21 years as a singer. Universal had taken her under contract and the director Chris Marrs Piliero, who had also worked with Britney Spears and Kesha, staged for their debut single, Thank You Very Much a nudist party. Despite the pixelation video on YouTube has been blocked, brought her only really attention. After the video was subsequently retrieved on Vimeo in a short time more than 100 000 times, also gave the YouTube video again. In the following months, the official video was clicked almost three million copies there alone. On June 21, the song was released as a single and went into the German charts.
