Marhinde Verkerk

Marhinde Verkerk ( born November 21, 1985 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch judoka. She fights in the weight class up to 78 kg.

Career

Verkerk won in November 2006 in Moscow the title at the European Junior Championships. 2007, 2008 and 2010 she won the Dutch championship. So far greatest sporting achievements is winning the world championship in 2009 in her hometown of Rotterdam.

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Verkerk finished fifth.
