Maria Crescentia Höss (* October 20, 1682 in Kaufbeuren, † April 5, 1744 ibid ) was Franciscan Superior and is a saint.

Life

The Kaufbeurer Crescentiakloster was first documented in 1261. Since then, live and work in the spirit of St. Francis Franciscan Sisters at this location. In 1315 they adopted the rule of the Third Order of St. Francis, and placed themselves under the leadership of the Franciscan Order.
