María Dolores Pradera

María Dolores ( Fernández ) Pradera ( born August 29, 1924 in Madrid) is a Spanish singer and actress. She is also known by the name María Dolores and La Pradera.

Life

María Dolores Pradera is the daughter of a Spanish businessman. She spent her childhood in Spain and Chile.

Her professional career began as a theater actress and appeared in the 1940s in some famous Spanish movies with :: ¡ A mí la legión! (1942 ), La Lola se va a los puerto (1947 ) and Agustina de Aragón ( 1950).

Your Acting took a back seat when she started in the 1950s, singing professionally. She has recorded more than 35 records. Your focus is on the traditional Spanish and Latin American music styles: bolero, copla, ballad, Ronda, Fado, waltzes and folk music from Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Venezuela.

Her voice is clear and something deep. She has a very distinct Spanish pronunciation. Usually it is accompanied by guitar, requinto and drums.

30 years sang Maria Pradera along with the group Los Gemelos ( the twins ), which consisted of the twins Santiago and Julián López Hernández, until the death of Santiago in the early 1990s.

Pradera was married from 1947 to 1959 with the actor Fernando Fernán Gómez; they have two children: Elena and Fernando.
