Maria Heiskanen
Maria Heiskanen ( born August 21, 1970 in Kuopio, Finland) is a Finnish actress.
Life
With her big screen debut in the Swedish film drama Il capitano she had her breakthrough on the side of Antti Reini and Berto Marklund. For her role of Minna in the staged by Jan Troell film, she was honored at the Chicago International Film Festival for Best Actress. Subsequently, she worked from 1993 to 2003 in Sweden, both on screen and in the theater, including the Royal Dramatic Theatre and the Riksteatern. For her role in the re- staged by Troell film drama The eternal moments of Maria Larsson, she was awarded the 2009 Swedish film award Guldbagge for Best Actress.
