Maria of Bohemia

Maria of Bohemia († 1160 ) was Margrave of Baden and Verona.

She is the daughter of Duke Soběslav I and Adleyta, daughter of Almusch of Hungary ( Almus Uherský ). Maria is the granddaughter of the first Bohemian king Vratislav II

In his first marriage married Mary of Bohemia in 1138 the Margrave Leopold IV of Austria († October 18, 1141 ), who was also since 1139 Duke of Bavaria.

Maria of Bohemia married after 1141 the Margrave Hermann III. of Baden in a second marriage.

She found her final resting place in the grave lay the Margrave of Baden in the Augustinian Canons in Backnang.
