Marianna Auenbrugger

Marianne Auenbrugger ( born July 19, 1759 in Vienna, † August 25, 1782 ibid ) was an Austrian pianist and composer.

Life

The daughter of the doctor Leopold Auenbrugger was viewed as a pianist and composer in Vienna high. Together with her sister Caterina Franziska she was a student of Joseph Haydn and Antonio Salieri. Haydn dedicated the two sisters in 1780, the cycle of six piano sonatas opus 30 ( Hob XVI :35 -39 and 20).
