Marie Hamsun

Marie Hamsun, born Anne Marie Andersen ( born November 19, 1881 in Elverum, Norway, † 5 August 1969 Nørholm, Denmark) was a Norwegian actress, children's author. It wa the second wife of the writer Knut Hamsun.

Life

Classic status achieved Marie Hamsun's books about the Langerudkinder to which experiences with their own children, they inspired. Encouraged by her husband, who recognized her talent for writing in her letters, she wrote five volumes about the family on Langerud that are available today.
