Marie-Luce Romanens

Marie- Luce Romanens (born 19 January 1973) is a Swiss orientation and long-distance runner.

In the World Orienteering Championships in 1995 she won the first ever Swiss World Champion title in the sprint. In the World Orienteering Championships in 1997 was followed by a bronze medal in the sprint, and one in the relay.

Then she focused on athletics and achieved in 2000 as the ninth Paris Marathon their marathon best of 2:35:54 h following year she won the Jungfrau-Marathon with the current (as of 2012) course record of 3:21: 04 h

In the World Orienteering Championships in 2003 she won silver in the sprint track her fourth medal in this competition, but was eliminated in the long distance hurt.

However, the continued discomfort, especially in the Achilles tendon, they soon withdrew it from the competitive sport back.
